Developing champions has never been more exciting and rewarding. Children not only crave praise they crave challenges, structure and discipline. Valorie Kondos Field and Jill Hicks have witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to coaching. They both have spent the past three decades working with young gymnasts, developing them into champions by adhering to one overarching principle

~ To develop the whole person who is the athlete.~

Come learn how to redefine success as a parent, coach and athlete. You won’t want to miss the SUCCESS SUMMIT: DEVELOPING CHAMPIONS IN LIFE AND SPORT.

Valorie Kondos Field is the retired head coach of the seven time NCAA Champion, 22-time Pac-12 Champion UCLA Women’s Gymnastics team. She’s a four-time “National Coach of the year”and was named Pac-12 “Coach of the Century.” Affectionately known by her gymnasts as “Miss Val,” her reputation is only one reason that 46 former US national team members have come through her program and why half of the last two Olympic teams have committed to UCLA. Valorie’s coaching success is due to her extraordinary leadership and mentorship with studentathletes and her empowering them to use their voices and celebrate themselves.

From Elite gymnast to scholarship athlete at Oregon State University, Jill Hicks went on to be a college gymnastics coach for 20 years producing 35 All-Americans and 5 NCAA National Champions. After her time as a head coach at California State University, Fullerton, she toured the USA with the 2012 Women’s Gymnastics Olympic team. Most recently, Jill turned her years of gymnastics coaching experience into a thriving business, Jill Hicks Consulting! She advises hundreds of athletes as they pursue their dream of becoming an NCAA athlete. Her greatest joy has not been from life’s achievements, but in seeing others work hard, deal with adversity and reach their own personal goals.
