January 1, 2018

The start of a New Year.

What would you do today if you were told by a higher power that by December 31, 2018 you will be living that dream if you went after it?

I haven’t heard any divine guarantee, but I’ve decided to step it up a notch. I’m excited to adjust my periscope on my Big Bold Dreams. I’m making this the year of facing the fear and doing it anyway. I’m going to dream unapologetically, work my courage muscles daily, and trust in the process no matter how rocky, scary or hard the road may get. In order to believe in the process of my Dreams I need to pay attention to another scope in my life: my microscope.

I need to analyze, identify, and scrutinize every choice I make and measure them against the path of my Dreams. If something isn’t working I need to adjust and keep moving forward. There is plenty of room on this train to an amazing and fulfilling 2018.

If you’d like to join me, sit back ~~~
Breathe in really deep, hold it, feel your heart beat, hold it ~~~
Now EXHALE fully.
And again ~~~ breathe in deeply, hold, and Exhale fully.

Quiet your mind, and LISTEN ~~~ Listen to your soul, embrace all that is good, strong and innate ~~~ that which is uniquely YOU!

Now stay in that calm strength and shift your thoughts to your Spirit ~~~ your hopes, your dreams, that which excites you to ponder. See yourself fully living as that person you desire to be, living the life that you’re envisioning.

Now ~~~ breathe, exhale, quiet your mind ~~~

Here’s to the Courage, the Trust, and the Faith to Dream and Live Boldly one day at a time, one choice at a time.

Welcome 2018, I can’t wait to reveal and embrace all the possibilities you possess.

Between running my business, teaching at CSU, fulfilling my Navy responsibilities, and taking care of my family responsibilities, my day-to-day activity seems like a continuous struggle to keep pace with everything and HOPING that someday my dream will be realized. It seems that doing as you wrote could actually help me to gain some perspective, exercise some control and take proactively actions to achieve that ever-elusive dream. It sounds like an exercise that should be a part of my Monday morning routine! And today seems like as good a… Read more »
